Kalahari Roar (Original)

Perhaps the oldest tribe still living today, the Khoi - San of the Kalahari live closely with their wildlife.  Some of the oldest art in the world is attributed to them.  A spiritual kinship with animals factors heavily into their culture.  With the piece, I portray one of the family I've grown close to--a young woman capable of adding her own roar to the night--sister to the lions I also love to draw.
